Norwegian Yacht Voyages are creating a brand new build program consisting of four 180m expedition mega yachts with the first to launch the summer of 2022. The next three will be delivered approx 18 months apart.

The increased interest in the expedition market demands both more capacity and higher standards of the ships. At the same time, new regulations will pressure old ships out of the polar areas. The expedition market has historically been all about locations and less about the ships. Nonetheless specializing in destinations, even planning some brand new ones, we are going to introduce a mega yacht with concepts and solutions never seen before.

“CAROLINE” would be the only ultra-luxury, true hybrid ship within the expedition market. With suites starting from 56 m2 (605 sqft) to 144 m2 (1550 sqft) her 220 visitors can be serviced by 204 crew (the very best guest/crew ratio in the sector).
Launched at this time she would (based on DNV GL) be essentially the most advanced cruise ship afloat, and we can´t wait to show her to the whole world in 2022.
