UK Superyacht specialists Pendennis, announced last week that the newly extended 74.5m MY Lady E has launched following an extensive refit programme at their Falmouth facility. Fresh from Pendennis’ dry dock, MY Lady E emerged and was promptly moved to the yards 7,564sqm wet basin for final commissioning work ahead of a series of sea trials over the coming weeks.
A major component of the yacht’s refit has been the addition of a 6m stern extension. The result of which has been an extra 120sqm of guest space across her lower and main decks. Future guests onboard will now be able to enjoy a brand new 60sqm beach club on the lower deck and additional guest seating and sunbathing area’s on the main deck aft. On the bridge deck, the decision was taken to further improve the yachts guest facilities with the installation of a fully equipped health and wellbeing suite. Finally, the yacht has benefited from the application of topcoat on her exterior bulwarks and high UV areas.
As well as the visible external and internal improvements, a comprehensive programme of engineering and AVIT works was completed by the technical experts at Pendennis alongside a team of leading industry contractors. Key elements included the installation of three new generators, the overhaul of the main engines and service work carried out on all major systems.
Pendennis is set to release further details on the project later this month as the yacht prepares to depart Falmouth, and head into her upcoming charter season.
