Marlink subsidiary Telemar Yachting and console specialist Pariani combine their expertise to offer a unique next-generation virtual bridge layout which we are delighted to announce will be on their stand at the Superyacht Technology Show in Barcelona, in March 2024.

Telemar Yachting, a Marlink Group company, has partnered with renowned bridge console designer Pariani Srl to create T-Master Touch. This unique full-touch bridge for superyachts, combines touchscreen technology with flexible bridge ergonomics.

T-Master Touch combines workstations/pods, each equipped with large 32-inch 4K touchscreen displays which can be built-in or installed standalone, enabling the bridge team to optimise their workflow, replacing the traditional linear console approach. On-screen navigation functions can be completely customized, allowing users to choose displays and overlays as well as controlling bridge functions, reflecting different operating scenarios.

Speaking to Simone Pariani from Pariani Srl, Joanna Palmer Head of Marketing & Operations at Superyacht Technology Network discussed that Pariani started in 1974 and for 12 years have had a great working relationship with Telemar.  Simone said “We are very proud of our relationship with Telemar.  The T-Master Touch combines our expertise in front-end console specialism, with every single component made by us to provide Telemar with a very user friendly next generation bridge console.  Telemar are the sole distributor of this technology, which is fully certified.  We are also looking at producing together other bridge solutions so watch this space”

Telemar Yachting completed the first installation of this innovative bridge solution onboard the 57.8-metre Kathryn, launched from Codecasa Shipyards of Viareggio in July. This installation features three navigation stations combining Telemar’s renowned safety of operations with a high-specification interface completely controlled by touch.

The bridge consoles integrate a diverse array of essential technologies for safe navigation, including radar and chart plotters as well as wheelhouse controls, to deliver an ultra-modern integrated system with stunning aesthetics, suitable for any luxury superyacht. It is a highly flexible solution that can be customized according to client needs and compliant with flag state requirements for safe operations with a significant level of redundancy.

Eleanora Stefanelli, Italian Sales Manager at Telemar Yachting told us “The console can be customised to fit all needs, we have a lot of flexibility and agility to create this as a stand-alone system or built into the bridge”.

Telemar Yachting, the specialised business unit of Telemar, offers a unique portfolio of bridge electronics and navigation solutions for the yachting market. Based in Italy, the UK and the US, the team offers a holistic ‘single service’ approach, providing full service for hardware, connectivity, safety and navigation systems. Instead of working with multiple providers, yacht owners and managers can rely on one predictable and fully managed service and compliance partner.

“Superyacht designers and builders are constantly challenging the limits of creativity, combining beautiful design with innovative technology,” said Mike Bauwens, President, of Telemar. “Our new bridge concept combines the style and sophistication that owners expect and the operational prowess and reliability that navigators need to sail safely and efficiently.”
