Antibes, France, 17 September 2018:

Established in 2013 with the sole aim of providing elite servicing and support in the comfort and communication electronics sector to a number of large yachts, Flare has built a solid reputation for engineering and service within a select network of clientele.

Adam Kirkwood, CEO, who led the buy-out, is excited by the company’s next chapter in its journey. The company’s aim was always, and still is, to maintain a select portfolio of prestigious clients that benefit from their strategy of giving them the service that no-one else can.

“It’s important for us to have a relationship with the vessel so we know both the requirements of the crew and the owning party. We can then swiftly respond to their demands. Our financial strength means our actions are based on the trust we place on relationships and not reliant on the receipt of a large deposit before we start working for you.”

Steve Osborne has joined as Operations Director, and as part of the buy-out team brings with him a wealth of experience and a further drive to take the company beyond the next horizon.

According to Steve and Adam: “Marine and Electronics is in our blood, having both been technically trained in the Royal Navy and later serving together as senior technical engineers in the largest AV/IT and Communication company in the yacht sector. You can be sure we know what’s expected of us.”

“Working on the principal of providing ‘noticeable added value’ gives us measurable levels of clients’ satisfaction and is proven by gaining repeat orders year in year out.”
