The National Marine Manufacturers Association and Boating Writers International presented Volvo Penta with the 2017 Innovation award for the Volvo Penta Joystick for Inboard.
The idea of the Volvo Penta Joystick is to simply make life at sea easier at any sea condition – the technology is designed to give minimal effort, and with its docking mode, it provides a smooth maneuver in any direction with more precision. As well as this, another key feature is the AutoPilot, to which can easily enable you to change it’s set course.
With Patented Technology, the Joystick can automatically calculate the balance between rudder angler, thrust from the main engines and bow thruster to match each specific boat chrematistics.
