A flying vehicle which users can operate without an FAA license is currently in the testing phase, with designers Kitty Hawk hoping to have it on the market by the end of 2017. The electric aircraft is powered by eight propellers and can reach speeds of 25 miles per hour.

The vehicle is only meant to be flown over sea, separating it from toys such as the roadable aircrafts that are in development now. The prototype currently looks similar to a giant drone, though the company admit the design will change as further tests are carried out. Once available we expect it to be a popular favourite for the superyacht industry.
